USKA’s new website is now online

The USKA has completely revamped its website at www.uska.ch.
Andreas HB9BLA has led and implemented the entire project over the last six months
. Following this development period, a complete overhaul
has replaced the old platform, which had evolved over time.

The modernisation focuses on enhanced security, streamlined processes and
an automatically generated structure. The website is now available in four languages: German,
French, Italian and English, with translations of specialist texts
integrated via DeepL. Personal data is stored centrally in Fairgate
, whilst each member’s own call sign serves as their username for the exclusive
Members Area. Each member also automatically receives an @uska.ch forwarding address
.

Support is provided by the automated assistant Uski, who helps with login issues
and answers questions. Tayfun HB3YPJ, the new webmaster, will
be responsible for technical support following the go-live. The team welcomes feedback on errors or missing
content via webmaster@uska.ch.
