A great honour for the USKA from ETH Zurich
Since December 2025, HBradio has been an integral part of the E-Periodica collection at the ETH Library.
Following around two years of preparatory work, ETH Zurich was convinced that the quality of HBradio met the university’s high standards. This is a great honour for the USKA, recognising its wealth of knowledge and that of its members. This knowledge is now being made available free of charge to everyone worldwide.
HBradio is available in TIFF format from issue 1/2008 to 3/2026; individual pages or entire issues can be downloaded and, if desired, printed out. The latest issue remains restricted for one month and, during this time, is only accessible to USKA members via HBradio.
The issues of *The Old Man* (1932–2007) are not available in E-Periodica, as whilst all issues have apparently been scanned, the quality is insufficient. For those interested, all issues of *The Old Man* are included on the so-called USB History Stick, which can be purchased from the USKA FanShop for CHF 48 at shop@uska.ch.
In addition to *old man*, this USB stick also contains all issues of *HBradio*; it is therefore a reference work covering more than 90 years of USKA history.
