Brief report on the 8th EMC Level 1 video conference 2026
The 8th EMC Level 1 video conference 2026 took place on Tuesday, 27 October 2026.
Richard HB9ERB reported how he was able to locate interference from a Husqvarna lawn mower and its charger using two different direction-finding devices. He explained one aspect: the advantage when the «owner of an interference» has an OFCOM measurement report in hand while negotiating with a product supplier about eliminating the interference.
The 38-page slide set from Armin HB9MFL‘s EMC presentation to colleagues in Solothurn is attached. From it, any OM can, if needed, take important steps or ideas for tracking down EMC interference, even without Armin’s audio commentary.
You will find the documents shown and the minutes under the download link.
The next EMC video conference will take place on Tuesday, 24 November 2026 at 2015 HBT. An invitation will follow.
