About AMSAT-HB
AMSAT-HB is the Swiss AMSAT group — ‘a group of enthusiastic radio amateurs who explore the subject of “amateur radio via satellites” in a variety of ways’. The association consists mainly of radio amateurs from Switzerland, but also has international members — and is open to anyone with a passion for satellite communication.
Through experiments with high-frequency hardware and software, the group is actively involved in amateur radio via satellite. It is only through international cooperation that it is possible to develop, build and operate our own satellites. AMSAT-HB supports newcomers with training, webinars and building guides for their own ground stations — from the first QO-100 contact right through to their own satellite project.
‘We know how amateur radio works in space.’ AMSAT-HB
