EmComm’s cooperation with the authorities

The main bodies with which formal cooperation agreements or close cooperation arrangements are in place are as follows.

  • Canton of Zug: Written agreement in place since 2006:
    Head of the Office for Civil Defence and Military Affairs, Emergency Organisation Unit
  • Canton of Schwyz: Agreement in place since 2 May 2012; contact:
    Head of the Office for Military, Fire and Civil Defence
  • Canton of Lucerne: Agreement in place since 15 December 2015;
    Cantonal Command Staff (KFS), Sempach Training Centre
  • Canton of Fribourg: Agreement in place since 3 July 2018. Head of Civil Protection
  • Canton of Solothurn: Agreement in preparation; Head of the Office for Military and Civil Protection
  • Reinach BL Fire Service Base: formal agreement; Head of Safety and Rescue, Fire Service Commander
  • Canton of Valais: Cooperation with the ‘Office cantonal de la protection de la population’
  • NIDAU plus Civil Defence Municipal Association (2024) Civil Defence Commander

    In addition, close contacts already exist in various other regions where formalised cooperation is still in the development phase:
  • Radio Operations Group (Bernese) Oberland (FUEGO, Thun Section HB9T)
  • Brütten Emergency Radio HB9NFB (co-operation with the Zurich Cantonal Police)
