About AMSAT-HB
AMSAT-HB is the Swiss AMSAT group — ‘a group of enthusiastic radio amateurs who explore the topic of “amateur radio in space” from a variety of angles’. The association consists mainly of radio amateurs from Switzerland, but also has international members — and is open to anyone with a passion for satellite communication.
Through experiments with high-frequency hardware and software, the group actively participates in amateur radio via satellites. It is only through international cooperation that we can develop, build and operate our own satellites. AMSAT-HB supports beginners with training, webinars and building guides for their own ground stations – from the first QO-100 contact right through to their own satellite project.
