As part of the ARISS programme, schools occasionally make radio contact with the ISS — organised by dedicated USKA radio amateurs.

4 December 2023	The ARISS radio contact between astronaut Andreas Mogensen, KG5GCZ, on the International Space Station (ISS) and two schools in Eutin and Marl was a resounding success. On 4 December 2023, the NDR broadcast a feature on the ‘Schleswig-Holstein Magazin’ programme about the pupils at the Weber Gymnasium in Eutin who made contact with the ISS.
