This year’s EmComm Conference 2026 will showcase the latest developments in communications during emergencies and demonstrate how radio amateurs and public authorities can work together to contribute to resilient crisis communications – from modern amateur radio applications to ‘last-mile’ communications using CB radio and PMR-446. For the first time, the conference is also specifically aimed at representatives of public authorities as well as those responsible for crisis organisations and crisis management teams.

This year’s EmComm Day 2026 will present the latest developments in the field of communications in exceptional situations and demonstrate how radio amateurs and the authorities can work together to ensure resilient crisis communication – from modern applications of amateur radio right through to ‘last-mile’ communications via CB and PMR-446. For the first time, this event is also specifically aimed at representatives of public authorities as well as those responsible for crisis management organisations and crisis management teams.
