YouTubers at HAMRADIO in Friedrichshafen
This year’s HamRadio offers you a special opportunity: the IARU (International Amateur Radio Union) has invited various amateur radio YouTubers. This gives you the chance to meet them in person and talk to them directly.
Since the amateur radio YouTubers do not have their own stands at HamRadio, it is all the more gratifying that the IARU is offering them this platform. A real highlight for the community!
On Friday at 1 p.m., you will have the opportunity to meet the following well-known YouTubers at the IARU stand:
- DL2YMR (channel: DL2YMR)
- DD0UL (channel: DD0UL QTC)
- DO1HFS (channel: Funkfieber)
- DO2AEC (channel: Prepperfunk)
- DO3KI (channel: F74)
- and, of course, Andreas Spiess from Switzerland, known as ‘the guy with the Swiss accent’ on his amateur radio channel of the same name
On Saturday at 1 p.m., a similar event will take place for podcasters, who will also meet opposite the USKA stand at the IARU stand:
It is not yet clear who will be attending, but information will follow or can be found on the IARU’s Github page from Monday onwards.
This is a great opportunity to see the faces behind the channels ‘in real life’ and exchange ideas with them. Join us and take advantage of this opportunity for interesting conversations!
