Opening of the new radio exhibition HB9E

The museum is celebrating the opening of its new exhibition area on the subject of radio. Highlights include a 1:30 scale model of the Eiffel Tower with a faithful lighting concept, an atmospheric Paris diorama and interactive insights into the history of radio – from maritime radio to weather and space radio to CB radio.
The HB9E amateur radio station is located in Enter Technikwelt and is operated by the USKA (Union of Swiss Shortwave Amateurs).
Programme for the opening ceremony
- 11:00 a.m.: Welcome by Fabian Knuchel, Director of Enter Technikwelt
- 11:05 a.m.: Opening speech by HB9ALH, Bernard Wehrli, President of the USKA
- 11:15 a.m.: Welcome address by Felix Kunz, museum initiator and president of the ENTER Foundation
- 11:45 a.m.: First radio message from the British National Radio Centre, stationed at Bletchley Park, GB3RS
- 12:00 p.m.: Demonstration of the radio room by the technology group
- 12:30 p.m.: End of the opening ceremony
Admission to the radio room opening: free of charge

The kitchen team at the Enter Restaurant will be providing refreshments.
