Support für Windows XP

Seit einiger Zeit unterstützt Microsoft das Betriebssystem Windows XP nicht mehr. Bemerkenswert ist die Tatsache, dass nun ein “Security Update for Windows XP SP2 for x64-based Systems (KB4012598)” zur Verfügung gestellt wird. Damit wird Microsoft der Tatsache gerecht, dass das sehr weit verbreitete Betriebssystem immer noch Verwendung findet.

Microsoft have released a patch to fix the bug in XP that is used by the “WannaCrypt” malware attack. Users of the Sentinel SDR receiver running on the RSGB Noise Measurement program should download and install the patch as soon as possible.
