The 9th EMC Level 1 video conference 2024 took place on Tuesday 29 October 2024.

Urs HB9BKT reported on the activities of the new webeditor Pirmin HB9DTE and the revision of the e-mail addresses. The address emc@uska.ch will remain, all others will be deleted.

Martin HB9GYF presented a brief description of the RFI H-Fieldtester, developed by OMs Erhard HB9CIZ, Hanspeter HB9CPT and editorially supported by Celso HB9TNW. A total of four devices will be produced and one device can be borrowed if required, i.e. for troubleshooting. A report on HBRadio is being planned.

Urs HB9BKT explained the actions concerning USKA direction finders under the direction of Andreas HB9BLA. The Bernese-OM HB9FMS has ‘designed’ an 80m direction finder for fox hunting. For details and specification see documents. It is planned to procure 50-100 prefabricated units with SMD assembly. An OM should be able to assemble the finished elements. A report on HBRadio is being planned.

Urs HB9BKT reports on a test of a Wireless Power Transfer Electronic Vehicle system (WPT-EV), which was monitored with ENAMS station #123 and measured on site in collaboration with OFCOM and the manufacturer with regard to interference behaviour.
