Brief report on the 7th EMC Level 1 video conference on 28 October 2025

On Tuesday, 28 October 2025, the 7th EMC Level 1 video conference 2025 took place.

Urs HB9BKT was unable to attend, so there were only two short items on the agenda.

Martin HB9HYF showed results from Manus AI, an AI tool that analyses EMC interference using the information entered and creates a PowerPoint presentation. A second case was discussed regarding EuroLoop. To date, there had been interference from EuroLoop on 20m at an OM. The OM was disturbed. Now there is a reverse case, where a transmission by an OM on 80m with 100W using an antenna in the immediate vicinity of railway lines can interfere with certain types of locomotives at Balisen/Eurobalisen.
