HB9O reservation / booking plan

Reservation

• Days requested by the VHS (Museum of Transport Lucerne): Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
• Other/additional days by arrangement with the operating group.
• Desired times: 10:30 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 16:30
• The Museum of Transport holds a briefing for all employees every morning. Operators must arrive at the control center by 09:45 at the latest to attend this briefing (voluntary).

• You must be logged in and registered as HB9O operator to be able to book here.
• New operators must register once with the USKA Form: https://uska.ch/hb9o-operator/
• All known operators use the login on the USKA website
• Reservations are approved by the head of the operating group

Notes:

• The station is available for every radio amateur! Further information for operation is listed under “Important”. If this does not answer all your questions, please contact hb9o(at)uska.ch
• The use of the callsign HB9O is only permitted on the grounds of the Verkehrshaus. See also: USKA club callsigns and regulations
• We have cleared the cupboard with the documentation, so you can stow your things away
• For legal reasons, an operator on HB9O must always be a radio amateur with an HB9 license, so that radio amateurs with an HB3 license can operate on all bands under HB9O, this also applies to HE9ers.
• If the station is only manned by HB3 radio amateurs, they may only operate the station with an HB3 license and may only operate on the bands permitted to them; VHS visitors may not operate.
• Radio amateurs from abroad are also welcome. If you would like to operate on HB9O, please contact the operator group. We will then organize an operator who knows the station well.
• Outside the official operating hours (Tue, Sat, Sun) the radio station can be operated, but no expenses will be reimbursed. Please ask the operator group.

Registration:

• Pick up the key at the operations center only after the briefing (09:35 am). Meeting point in front of the entrance to the track hall, at no. 1 on the map. Attendance at the briefing is encouraged, some of the information is very interesting or even important.

Coaching:

• If you would like an HB9O – experienced radio amateur to help you get started at the station, please ask for coaching. The HB9O operator group will then organize this.
