USKA booth at the HAMRADIO
HAM RADIO 2024 starts in Friedrichshafen in just a few days
This year under the motto “60 years of Islands On The Air: Technology meets Adventure!”
From June 28 to 30, everything will revolve around amateur radio in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. Together with the trade fair company, the DARC, as the conceptual sponsor of Europe’s largest trade fair for radio amateurs, is opening the doors to a wide world of almost unlimited possibilities. The wide world therefore also plays an important role in the motto of HAM RADIO 2024:
Celebrating 60 years of IOTA – Islands On The Air!
The organizers are expecting over 11,000 visitors from around 60 countries.
With 392 commercial exhibitors on an area of 27,400 m², associations and flea market participants – from over 30 countries – the size of HAM RADIO 2024 is again almost at the same level as before Corona.
For example, Yaesu will also be on site again.

An interesting supporting program with over 100 presentations and activities awaits visitors: https://www.darc.de/nachrichten/veranstaltungen#c313589
To avoid the hassle of queuing for a ticket at the entrance, it is advisable to buy one online in advance (and save some money): https://www.hamradio-friedrichshafen.de/besuchen/oeffnungszeiten-tickets
See you at 11 a.m. at the USKA stand for an aperitif!
Most of the board members will be available for questions and a chat throughout HAM RADIO 2024.
The USKA will be at the stand this year with HB9RS, the Pfadi amateur radio operators. Among other things, the training systems that HB9RS has developed itself will be on display. There was recently an article about this in the HB9 QTC of Funkaamateur. See also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVw5cpsE_no
See you soon in Friedrichshafen!

HB9SOTA, SOTA Germany and SOTA Austria together at HamRadio 2024
HamRadio 2024 is just around the corner and we are delighted to be represented again this year with a joint stand by HB9SOTA, SOTA Germany and SOTA Austria. This close cooperation shows the strong bond within the SOTA community.
As last year, our stand will be located in Hall 1, booth A1-190, and will serve as a meeting point for all SOTA activists. Here, visitors can not only have informative discussions, but also take part in our raffle with attractive prizes.
Another highlight is the joint dinner on Friday evening at Gasthof Adler, Kornstraße 1, 88094 Oberteuringen. Here all SOTA friends can exchange ideas, see each other visually and end the evening in a cozy atmosphere. Registration for the dinner is mandatory and can also be made via the SOTA UK reflector.
Hamradio 2024 will take place from June 28 to June 30.
For detailed information, please visit the SOTA UK reflector (keyword HamRadio 2024): https://reflector.sota.org.uk/search?q=HamRadio%202024
We cordially invite everyone to visit us at the stand and take part in the activities. Let’s have a successful and exciting Hamradio 2024 together!
