The VHF Contest Season is Opened
The 2023 contest season opened with the First VHF Contest at the beginning of March.
With changeable weather, some stations did find their way onto the band.
While in the north and west only normal conditions were recorded,
HB9HI (aka HB9IAB) in canton VD could enjoy a nice opening towards western France, Great Britain and Ireland.
Several QSO over 900km and an ODX of 1200km on 144 and 432 MHz are a nice start….
